The Coat of Arms of Scotland above the doorway of Saint Andrew's House in Edinburgh.

Carrick was commissioned to execute the sculptural works on this project to the designs of the London based Scottish sculptor Reid Dick (Carrick had already executed Dick's designs for the Workington war memorial).

The Coat of Arms was exhibited at the Empire Exhibition. Carrick was also responsible for the figures on top of the pillars on the face of the building.
